More About "Rescue"
.
Please think of adopting a rescue. Taking on a young puppy as cute and adorable as they are (like the one you see pictured above) is very time involved and many people working full time do not have the time to house brake and train a puppy correctly.

Please consider an adult rescue. They are usually housebroken and trained and ready to enjoy their company. Puppies are wonderful and cute but remember they grow quickly often 80 + lbs. by 9 months old.

A puppy also needs lots of training and involvement. If you are not at a stage of your life where a puppy would fit due to time constraints, please consider the companionship of an adult Rottweiler. Rottweilers are loyal guardians and bond quickly and totally with a loving owner and their family.

Please think about your time constraints and consider a Rescue if you are uncertain you have time for a young puppy.

Remember only the best Rottweiler temperaments make it into rescue and most have been one of many that were picked because they were of superiour temperament and deserving of a second chance.

Please think of a Rescued Rottweiler or other breed. They make the best companions and they are grateful for their second chances.

Please
contact us, by e-mail or phone, if you would think you can make room in your heart and home for a wonderful Rottweiler needing a new home.

We have and know of many deserving Rottweilers that might fit well into your home!

More About "Sweetie"

"Sweetie" was found running loose in Grand Rapids and a family took her
in and thought she was so nice they didn't want her to go the the pound
so they contacted me. She was in excellent condition and even had her
nails trimmed but no microchip or other identification. We were certain
she had been lost so we ran a "Lost Dog" ad in the Grand Rapids paper
for 2 weeks but no one answered it for a lost Rottweiler. She is being
fostered and is a wonderful dog. We believe "Sweetie" is between 1 1/2
years to 3 years old, she will be spayed before placement and is an
excellent house dog and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She loves
to ride in the car and lay at your feet, but can be playful. She was
found to be Heartworm positive and is being treated but has also had some
seizures due to the heartworms that we have under control. She is a
delight and would make an excellent companion, even to a first time
Rottweiler owner. She is very obedient and well socialized.

Sadly, "Sweetie" is now with her guardian angels in heaven.
