| Below are memorial tributes dedicated to those Rottweilers that lost their lives due to canine diseases. Before you begin, help yourself to a cup of java and a box of tissues. You can truly relate to the owner's hearts crying out to you, about their pain, suffering, and emptiness. Some of the memoirs are directed to another site. After you read a few of these real life experiences, we hope it opens your eyes, heart, and mind too why canine health is so vital and how horribly rampant diseases are! "COME TO ME" God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be So He closed His arms around you And whispered, "Come to Me." You didn't deserve what you went through And so He gave you rest, God's garden must be beautiful He only takes the best. And when we saw you sleeping So peaceful and free from pain, We could not wish you back To suffer that again. Author Unknown Princess Ebony Almondee - aka. Our 1st died from Lymphoma and our 2nd to addison's. One day we will meet again. CHERYL SOBUN I recently lost my Rottie named "Budwesier", he died July 2,2002 about five years ago. He started getting white spots on him, the vet didn't no what it was. Then his eyes started going bad, he could see very little. I took him to a different vet, she found he had thyroid problems, so I started him on meds. He was seven years old and I feel that I have lost my best friend. I think the vets should learn more about the bigger breeds. When they checked his blood, he had a lot of fat in it. She said she never seen anything like it and could not explain why he died. thank you, Melody Rahja la Sotte D'Avril - Born: 4-1-94 Died: 2-25-04 My beloved, "Rahja", was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of the soft tissue on July 27th, 2001. The tumor was just above her tail. It was removed initially but returned the following summer. She fought hard and never let it bother her until the end. She didn't want to leave me anymore than I wanted her to go. She lived life to it's fullest. She was the bravest soul I ever met. I did homeopathic treatments for her. To the amazement of all of the Vets, she lived well beyond her projected 8 months. The tumor burst on 2/25/04 and I couldn't have her suffer. She was the most amazing dog I've ever known. She captured the heart of anyone who ever met her. She protected me and made me laugh everyday. She was born in Hawaii on April fool's day and moved to Connecticut with me in September of '96. She has run on beaches in Hawaii, California, Florida, South Carolina and Connecticut. She's seen the Grand Canyon and has gone camping with me cross country. She loved the snow and loved the water (even though she couldn't swim). She's been my best friend. I still see her in my dreams and feel her with me. I miss her TERRIBLY! She will never be forgotten. She will ALWAYS be in my heart. Can you PLEASE post this on your Cancer memorial site for me? Rahja was the most amazing dog and she deserves a nice memorial. Your site is the BEST. I've included a picture of my baby taken on the day she died. This was her final picture.....beautiful to the end! However, why did it have to be cancer? I want to THANK YOU both for teaching me the truest meaning of what love, friendship, and courage are. I will be forever grateful for you both making me into the person I am today. I promise that I will be good and compassionate human being, so I can be graced with your company when I too, cross over.
